Six fresh and roaring streams come down side-to-side from the Nebrodi mountains, flowing each one in its own winding valley.
Further down, they take different paths: Cutò, Martello and Saracena move towards the Western side and originate the Simeto river, that flows into the sea in the South of Catania.
Flascio, Alcantara and Favoscuro originate the Alcantara river, heading towards East and then towards the sea - that is reached South of the wonderful spot of Giardini Naxos, near the timeless, world-famous beauty of Taormina.
